Our ‘the humans made us say this’ Terms & Conditions (T&C) 🐶

1. Services

I understand that PaceK9 provides:

  • Single Sessions – One-time treadmill session.

  • Session Packages – Packages of 5 or 10 sessions, expiring 90 days from purchase.

  • Monthly Memberships – Weekly sessions with a 90-day minimum commitment.

 

2. Payments & Billing

  • Payments for sessions, packages, or memberships are due at the time of purchase.
     

  • Monthly Memberships:
     

    • Memberships are billed automatically each month.
       

    • Membership requires a minimum 90-day commitment.
       

    • No refunds will be issued for partially used months.
       

    • To avoid charges for the following month, the membership must be canceled prior to the next billing date.
       

    • Membership access continues through the end of the paid month.
       

  • Session Packages: Unused sessions expire 90 days from purchase and are non-refundable and non-transferable.
     

  • PaceK9 reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for unpaid accounts.

 

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • 24+ Hours’ Notice: Payments will be retained as credit for future bookings.

  • Less Than 24 Hours’ Notice / No-Shows: Full forfeiture of payment; no credit or reschedule.

  • Same-Day Cancellations (Health Exceptions): Emergencies may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Approval of credits or rescheduling is at PaceK9’s sole discretion.

  • Session Packages and Memberships are non-refundable beyond what is explicitly stated.

 

4. Dog Safety & Owner Responsibilities

  • Owners must ensure dogs are healthy, vaccinated, and fit for treadmill use.

  • All medical conditions or behavioral concerns must be disclosed prior to sessions.

  • PaceK9 may refuse service to dogs that pose a safety risk.

  • Owners are fully responsible for their dog’s behavior and wellbeing during and after sessions.

 

5. Liability Waiver (Separate Document)

  • Participation requires signing a separate Liability Waiver.

  • This document addresses risks, assumption of responsibility, and limits PaceK9’s liability.

  • By signing this Agreement, I acknowledge that I must complete the Liability Waiver before my dog may participate.

 

6. Bloat Waiver (Separate Document)

  • Participation requires signing a separate Bloat Waiver.

  • This document addresses risks, assumption of responsibility, and limits PaceK9’s liability.

  • By signing this Agreement, I acknowledge that I must complete the Bloat Waiver before my dog may participate.

 

7. Session & Membership Rules

  • Sessions begin at scheduled times. Late arrivals may shorten session duration.

  • Memberships require a 90-day commitment; early cancellation may incur fees for remaining months.

  • Session packages are non-transferable and must be used only by the dog(s) named on the account.

 

8. Privacy

  • Personal information is collected solely for scheduling, billing, and services.

  • Information will not be sold or shared with third parties except as required by law.

 

9. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by Washington State law.

  • Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in Washington State.
